Love's

We arrived in Nashville today at 2 o'clock. The library was closing at 2, it was hot, and we were a little early getting to Bob and Randy's house. So I went for a haircut at the barber on mainstreet, paying him $10 for the deed. Laura spent some time looking for the same thing, but the salon's were all closed. It was Saturday after all, and it's a pretty small town. We checked at the local Radio Shack for directions, and the owner knew who the Love's were, and gave us directions. Randy had just returned from a bike ride, and Bob was golfing. So we enjoyed the evening around tables on their deck. The yard is beautiful, the house is small by their standards, big enough by mine. It's only 40 miles from Greenville to Nashville on highway 127, and with the wind at our backs for a change we made it here in 3hrs, including a lunch stop in Carlyle. We able to do a load of laundry, so feel cleaned up and fresh. Tomorrow we plan to ride to Carbondale, about 60 miles from here. The lights are out all around and all are in bed so bon soir.
