Bike is ready to roll

Been awhile, haven't had much to say.  Have a little time now before work, and with the bike in the house, time to blog.  Went down to get the bike in a snowstorm last week, and on Thursday we put in together in the garage.  Actually went real well, the biggest problem was with the water containers behind the seats, took a genius to figure them out, and we didn't have one around.  Yesterday we took our new home for a spin in the neighborhood, and surprisingly, didn't crash. I'm still having problems starting out, but we have more or less figured out how to turn a corner.  Basically, Laura pedals, I turn, we both lean.  She can't see ahead, I can't tell what she's doing on the back.  Takes some getting used to.  The yellow box on the back is our entire household for 3 or 4 months, the ultimate in downsizing.  I measured it, and front to back it's a little over 9 feet long.  A big rig. Had plans to put pics of it on, but after 15 mins of being frustrated, can't them on here, so next time I'll put pics on.  Stay tuned.

i thought the larger person would ride in the back for handling purposes. sounds like you are in front though. did they build it to you and mom's measurments or can you adjust it pretty well? you're going to be on that thing a while. speaking of which, have you estimated the total bike-hours you'll be riding?

is it separately geared for each rider, or do you have to do the same rpm?

a suggestion: figure out some stats you want to keep on the trip and update on the blog. like: miles ridden, hours logged on the bike, portapotties used, flat tires fixed, bugs eaten, number of times mom has smacked you on the back of the head, etc.
